Bridge for Peace is a non-profit Christian organization, that spreads the word that Jesus Christ heals by demonstrating God’s love for all nations. Since 1988, Bridge for Peace has seen God’s message change lives in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Central America, Canada and the United States. Bridge for Peace began in 1988 after Annette Eckart received a miraculous healing. She and her husband Ed began to pray daily together. They studied the Bible and listened for the Holy Spirit, who led them into a healing ministry. They saw many healed of emotional and physical disorders. God linked together people from different Christian churches in the United States with a desire to light a path to Jesus as our Bridge for Peace. In 2002, after three missions to Australia, a group of people with like hearts have formed Bridge for Peace, Australia. Bridge for Peace conducts local worship and healing services. Bridge for Peace offers mornings of prayer, retreat weekends and workshops. An annual Bridge for Peace Holy Convocation gathers people for a week of prayer on Long Island. We sponsor the Praise Cruise to refresh the Body of Christ. The Bridge for Peace television program touches hearts through personal stories of ordinary people who found peace in Jesus Christ. Planning is underway for the construction of Bridge for Peace Administrative Offices and Healing Center in Wading River, New York, to facilitate development of international ministry teams.
